Revenue-cycle platform — payer rules applied before treatment

A multi-location dental services organization. Built for the client in 2018, extended since — the claims workflow came later — and still in production use, supported by Tricon.

Dental claims get denied for avoidable reasons — a procedure done more often than the plan allows, an age limit, a downgrade, a provider or coverage-book mismatch between the verification form and the practice system. Normally those surface after the claim is denied, by which point the patient has already been quoted the wrong share.

This platform checks each treatment plan and insurance verification against the payer's own rules first, and returns a plain-language instruction to the front desk: recalculate the split, reschedule the crown, collect from the patient. Claims then move through a team-routed workflow with assignment, cross-team remarks and an audit trail — over an integration layer that replicates each office's Eaglesoft data centrally and retrieves eligibility from payer portals.

Outcome. The causes of denial are caught before the patient is treated rather than after the claim comes back, and the correction is named rather than left for someone to work out.
